We are a busy Adult Day Center that serves vulnerable seniors, adults living with a disability or dementia illness, and provides support and education for their caregiving families.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Organizing and implementing activities, facilitating and assisting with small and large group activities to encourage socialization, relaxation and recreation Providing one-on-one support to the Center's clients/members Assisting with personal care of clients/members Applicants must be patient, compassionate, caring and hardworking with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Candidates should also have a sincere desire to work with the elderly and disabled, and people with dementia.
Previous experience as an Recreation Assistant and/or providing personal care is preferred, but not required.
The Center's operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:
00amam to 4:
00pm.
