Event Marketing Manager
The Event Marketing Manager role sits within Research & Development Solutions, IQVIAs clinical trial business unit.
R&DS intelligently connects data, technology, and analytics to optimize and accelerate clinical trials.
Ultimately, we help bring needed therapies to patients faster.
We are looking for a dynamic event marketer who will work across the R&DS marketing team to lead conferences, webinars and more.
The Event Marketing Manager will work with vendors and venue managers, the IQVIA events and creative teams, the social media teams, and others to develop marketing components for conferences and webinars.
Oversee deliverables for face-to-face events and virtual events with direct responsibility for budget control and vendor management.
Responsibilities may include:
Bring together multidisciplinary teams around the world:
manage relationships with event team, marketing team and suppliers throughout all stages of projects.
Coordination with IQVIAs events team on booth design, build and timelines.
Lead planning teams and provide updates.
Manage vendors related to the conference.
Creation of custom marketing materials for conferences including landing pages, email marketing and social posts.
Coordinate overall conference logistics.
Manage booth elements including collateral, scheduling coverage, and lead retrieval
Lead internal communication around conferences and webinars
Coordinate metrics and recap reporting.
Provide onsite event support for 2-3 key conferences in U.
S.
per year.
Execute supporting webinars across the team including planning, execution, and reporting.
Central point of contact for internal clients, keeping them updated on status, anticipating their requests, and proactively managing solutions.
Light domestic travel for conferences.
Who You Are You have an entrepreneurial spirit.
You have proven experience in and passion for event management, demonstrating a minimum five years of delivering events, preferably in the life sciences field.
You enjoy project management and thrive on detailed work.
You strive to provide quality customer service and have exceptional attention to detail.
You enjoy being a central part of a high functioning, fun and dynamic team.
Experience and
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required and at least 3 years relevant event marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Life science experience helpful.
Strategic, self-starter, team player, results-driven professional.
Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills and Fluent English speaker.
Knowledge of Cvent, Eloqua, Smartsheet and meeting platforms helpful.
The position is home or office-based (Durham, NC, King of Prussia, PA, Parsippany, NJ or Bridgewater, NJ) with collaboration with a global team.
