Job Description:
As a Certified Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our office.
You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management and communicate with accuracy, quality and timeliness.
Duties include:
Taking and recording vital signs; EKG's.
Preparing patients for examinations.
Obtain and update patient medication lists.
Injections.
Authorizing prescription refills as directed by physicians.
EMR, rooming patients, clerical work if needed.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Travel to NJ locations Covid Vaccine and booster required Recommended Skills Certified Medical Assistant Communication Electrocardiography Health Care Immunization Multitasking Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
