Nutanix Administrator
Infosys is seeking to hire a Nutanix Administrator with experience in Hyper converged infrastructure.
The position will primarily be responsible to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation, scalability, and availability of virtualized environments.
Required
Qualifications:
o Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Bridgewater, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.
o Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
o At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
o Hands on experience on implementing Converged Infrastructure & Nutanix Hyperconverged infrastructures in data centers.
o Demonstrated working experience with Nutanix Administration (including Prism Element and Prism Central).
o Hands on experience in AHV, ESXi, Metro Availability & Hyper-V hypervisors.
o Monitor overall/hardware health of compute platform consisting of Hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix, vBlock etc.
)o Significant prior experience performing Design, deploy, and manage Nutanix clusterso Install, update, and patch AOS.
o Drive regular operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
o Coordinate with vendor(s) for upgrade or refresh where the actual upgrade/refresh work will be performed by respective vendor(s).
o Working experience with AFS Management and monitoring.
o Optimize and troubleshoot virtual infrastructure.
