Position Summary Manufactures protective dust covers for book jackets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (The following statements describe the general nature of work being performed in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management): Acquires raw materials for production. Sets up and runs production machine. Bundles and stocks finished product. Fills incoming orders from all Service Centers. Maintains inventory. Orders supplies as needed. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent and minimum five years experience. Knowledge and ability to operate jacket machine. Mechanical skills. Forklift license. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to managers or employees. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
