Software Developer III needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Bridgewater, NJ.
What You'll Be Doing:
- The candidate will migrate application written in Objective C for iPad to Windows tablet platform.
- The Windows 8 Developer would go through the various stages of the Development life cycle from prototyping, development, testing and release.
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
- Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware, software, and operational and performance requirements of overall systems.
- Formulates and designs software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of designs.
- Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Consults with customers concerning maintenance of software system.
- Coordinates installation of software systems.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:

Experience: six to nine (6 to 9) years minimum
- Must have the ability to develop cutting edge Windows 8/WinRT Apps using C# and XAML.
- Hands on experience in Implementation of mobile solutions using JSON or XML based web-services.
- Experience with Hybrid App Development, HTML content presentation within native App.
- Strong Object-oriented analysis and design (OOA/D) background and understanding of programming best practices.
- Rich Graphical design experience on Windows 8 platform.
- Can work under supervision and guidelines, as a team player as well as an independently as required.
- Experience Debugging and troubleshooting
- Must have experience with Visual Studio 2013
- C# & XAML in mobile development (minimum two to three (2 to 3) years)
- SQLite database (two (2) years)
- Asynchronous programming (one to two (1 to 2) years)
- CSS, JavaScript (3-4 years)
- Data Sharing between multiple Apps
- Multi-threading and memory management (two (2) or more years )
- HTML 5
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 & higher preferred
- Visual Source Safe, TortoiseSVN preferred
- WCF preferred
- Objective C preferred
- Layer 5 preferred
