Pharma-Cruiting Life Sciences Executive Search is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for a pharmaceutical contract manufacturer in North Jersey.
POSITION
Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the overall control of the financial operations of the company including global operations in India and China. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibilities in strategic planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance & supply chain. The CFO will work very closely with the senior leadership team assisting in formulating the companys future strategic direction & tactical initiatives by providing financial perspective to the processes.
Responsibilities will include:
1) Planning, directing and controlling the financial well-being of the company and foreign operations by providing financial controls through overall planning, budgeting, policies and operational processes.
2) Providing leadership in the development of the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
3) Assisting in the preparation and implementation of the strategic plan and participating in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
4) Working closely with operations to ensure proper costing and supply of inventory.
5) Analyzing and forecasting, including multi-year outlooks based on alternative scenarios. Such information will be used to guide business development, financing, and strategic planning.
6) Managing processes and control mechanisms for financial forecasting, budgets, cash balances and reporting to the company
7) Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
8) Overseeing the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements, and reporting operational results as required to management.
9) Conducting financial analysis on various business operations issues such as benefits, compensation, marketing expenditures, etc.
10) Providing credible financial analysis, due diligence procedures and advice to support product portfolio selection and business development activities
11) Monitoring and directing the implementation of strategic business plans and developing performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
12) Providing financial planning and related ongoing support to the CEO and senior leadership team, including tax strategies.
13) Constructing and monitoring reliable control systems and overseeing the company's transaction processing systems.
14) Managing any third parties to which financial functions have been outsourced.
15) Overseeing employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.
16) Managing, advising and negotiating existing relationships with financial institutions.
17) Other responsibilities will include a catch-all for non-production and non-sales activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Industry expertise:
Proven experience as a CFO or Vice President of Finance with a pharmaceutical contract manufacturer (nutritional supplements, OTC or generics).
Past functional roles in financial management, financial analysis and accounting
Deep understanding of finished dose and raw materials business, including inventory and supply chain.
International experience is a must (India and China experience desired).
Ability to understand where the business is going and partner with the right customers to ensure profitability.
Understand/exploit company strengths globally.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or business administration, Masters degree preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
